Dr. Tina Marie Thomas

Dr. Tina Thomas holds a Ph.D. in biopsychology. She is alsoa registered nurse, a board-certified social worker and a certifiedGestalt therapist. Formerly the clinical director of Tulane University'sCancer Counseling Center, she currently has a private practice.Tina has a reputation among friends and colleagues as a "professionalfairy godmother" who delights in empowering others to createtheir dreams come true. Dr. Thomas now brings her dynamic-yet-gentlemethod of empowerment to the masses by publishing the second editionof A Gentle Path - A Guide to Peace, Passion, and Power.

Her personal dreams come true include her retreat style bed-and-breakfast, Abita Springs Be & Be in Louisiana, and a "dream team"consisting of professionals and successful lay persons who assist others in making dreams a reality. (No dream is too small.) Speaking of dreams come true, she currently lives in Durham and is doing reasearch on personality at Duke University. Dr. Thomas has dedicated her life to researching the biological nature of personality, particularly as it relates to the Nine Point Personality System (NPS) a.k.a. Enneagram. Dr.Thomas is a professional speaker and offers workshops based on her book and current research.
